saving-for-an-adventure-block-plastic-money-box-green
Saving for An Adventure Block Plastic Money Box - Green

Description

This green plastic money box takes the shape of a chunky building block, with six round studs across the top and a coin slot set between them. The front is a clear panel printed with a globe in soft blue and green, crossed by little aeroplane silhouettes and ringed twice with the words 'Saving for an adventure around the world'. Coins drop into view behind the print, so every one saved can be seen. It stands 11cm high, 12cm wide and 8.5cm deep, a tidy size for a shelf or a desk.

We would put it on a bedroom shelf, a bookcase or a hall table, somewhere it catches the eye whenever there is loose change in a pocket. The travel theme makes it a cheerful home for coins set aside towards a holiday, a weekend away or a bigger trip still. Because the window is clear, the growing pile is a gentle nudge to keep going. The bright green frame adds a lively spot of colour to plain shelves, and it sits just as happily in a study or a home office as it does in a bedroom.

The box is made of plastic, with the bright green frame holding the clear panels front and back. Its flat base lets it stand steady without needing a wall or a fixing. Care is simple: as with most plastic pieces, dust it with a soft dry cloth and, when it needs more, wipe the frame and window with a cloth that is just damp, then dry it off. Steer clear of scouring pads or harsh cleaners, which can dull or scratch a clear surface. If you are giving it as a present, slip a few coins inside before you wrap it, so the saving for that adventure has already begun.

Specification

Material

Plastic

Colour

Green

Height

11cm

Width

12cm

Depth

8.5cm

Weight

0.15kg

Frequently Asked

How big is this money box?

It stands 11cm high, 12cm wide and 8.5cm deep, compact enough for a shelf, a bookcase or a desk.

What is the money box made of?

It is made of plastic, with a bright green frame and clear panels so the coins inside stay in view.

What is printed on the front?

The print is a blue and green globe crossed by small aeroplane silhouettes and ringed with the words 'Saving for an adventure around the world'.

Where do the coins go in?

There is a coin slot in the top, set between the six round studs, so coins drop straight down behind the clear window.

How do I keep it clean?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth.
