The design is by Kiki Goti.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt hangs in two directions, and turning it swings the whole orbit through ninety degrees, which changes the piece more than rotating a plain mirror does. Give it a wall it can hold on its own rather than a group, and stand back from it: the engraved path and the spheres resolve at a few paces and crowd at close range. At 20kg it is a comfortable two person lift and it stands 5.5cm off the wall, so the spheres throw shadows that are part of the effect. Two screws, washers and plugs are supplied with nothing to assemble. It is not rated for bathroom use, so keep it to dry rooms. Clean the glass with cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth and work around the spheres rather than over them, keeping liquid off the engraved path. The spheres sit on raised moulded tracks that run beside the engraved path, so they read as held in place rather than resting on the glass.
