sarika-iron-christmas-tree-decoration-17cm-gold
Sarika Iron Christmas Tree Decoration 17cm - Gold

Description

This is an angel hanging decoration in gold, with a rounded head, a body that flares gently towards its base and two wings spread wide to either side. The whole surface is covered in a crushed, mosaic-like texture of small reflective pieces, so rather than a flat shine it throws back little points of light as you walk past. It is made from iron, glass and jute and measures 17cm tall, 15.5cm long and 5.5cm wide, a generous size for a Christmas decoration: big enough to read clearly on a door or a bare wall, not only among the branches of a tree.

A small metal ring at the top of the head carries a loop of jute string, so it is ready to hang from a door handle, a hook, a window catch or a sturdy branch. We like it tied to the handle of a hallway or living room door with a ribbon and a sprig of pine, where everyone passes it on the way in, or hung in a window so daylight plays across the texture. At 0.14KG it wants a strong branch near the trunk rather than a slender tip. It suits anyone who loves a traditional Christmas angel but would like a little more sparkle than a painted figure gives.

It has a sprayed colour finish over the textured surface, and the wings are cut with a clean curved edge, so the outline stays crisp against a plain door or wall. The styling props shown are not included. For a simple display, tie a length of ribbon through the string loop, add a sprig of fresh pine behind the angel and hang it at eye level on a door, or let it hang from a mantelpiece garland among other gold pieces so the textures catch the same light.

Specification

Width

5.5cm

Length

15.5cm

Height

17cm

Material

Jute, Glass, Iron

Colour

Gold

Finish

Spraycolor

Weight

0.14KG

Frequently Asked

What is the angel decoration made of?

It is made from iron, glass and jute, with a sprayed colour finish in gold over its crushed, mosaic-like textured surface.

How big is the angel?

It is 17cm tall, 15.5cm long and 5.5cm wide, which is a generous size for a hanging decoration on a door, a wall hook or a tree.

How does it hang?

A small metal ring at the top of the angel's head carries a loop of jute string, so it is ready to hang from a hook, a handle or a branch.

Is it heavy enough to bend a tree branch?

It weighs 0.14KG, so on a Christmas tree we would hang it from a strong branch near the trunk rather than a thin tip.

Are the ribbon and pine sprig included?

No. The ribbon, the pine sprig and the other decorations shown are styling props and are not included; you receive the angel with its jute hanging loop.
