The casting is left rough under the antique brass, and the finish sits brighter on the panel faces than down in the grooves. A brass collar and a black lampholder sit on the neck. It is 22cm tall and 18cm across.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis is a base only: no shade and no bulb. At 22cm tall and 18cm across it is a small, low base, which puts it where height is a problem: a bedside table, a low shelf, a windowsill. It takes one E27 bulb up to 60W, the cord runs 2.5m, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe base is sand cast aluminium, poured into a sand mould and taken out once it cools, then finished in antique brass.
