saceda-pendant-light-41cm-black-gold
Saceda Pendant Light 41cm - Black & Gold

Description

The Saceda is a pendant light with a shade shaped like a curved half disc. It is black on the outside and lined with a crinkled gold-leaf finish on the inside. The steel shade is 41cm long and 28cm wide, and the whole light measures 150cm high overall. It hangs on a slim black cord from a round black ceiling canopy. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 40W, which is not included, so the choice of warm or cool light is yours. The IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Seen from one side, the shade reads as a clean black sweep. From the other, the gold lining shows, so the light looks different depending on where you sit or stand. That makes it a good choice over a dining table, in a living room or a bedroom, or in a hallway where people pass it from both directions. A single pendant like this gives a room a focal point without crowding it. The black and gold pairing sits comfortably with dark woods, brass details or plain painted walls. Because the bare bulb hangs just beneath the shade, it forms part of the look, which suits a decorative globe bulb well.

The body is steel, finished in black with gold. There is no switch on the light itself. It is switched at the wall, so it runs from the switch already in your room, on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz supply. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. The packed weight is 1.981KG. One practical note: at 150cm high overall, measure your ceiling height first so the shade hangs where you want it.

Specification

Length

41cm

Width

28cm

Overall Height

150cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Black, gold

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 40W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

1.981KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Saceda pendant light go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is for indoor, dry rooms only, so we would keep it out of bathrooms and away from water.

Does the Saceda pendant come with a bulb?

No, the bulb is not included.
