rubi-duo-cone-pendant-with-opal-glass-globe-matt-black-and-gold
Rubi Duo Cone Pendant with Opal Glass Globe - Matt Black & Gold

Description

The Rubi Duo Cone Pendant hangs two cone shades from a single slim rod, angled out to either side so the light falls in two directions at once. Each shade is matt black outside and gold inside, so the inner surface catches the light with a warm glow while the outside stays dark and understated. The fitting is made from an iron structure, opal glass and a textile cable, and its opal glass globe softens the glare. Overall it is 83cm tall and 49cm wide, each conical shade is 20cm across, and the ceiling canopy is 12cm across.

We think it works best hung above something: over a dining table, a desk in a home office, or a sideboard or reading chair in a living room, where the two shades throw light to either side rather than in a single pool. At 49cm wide it suits a small round table or a spot along a longer one, and it brings a sculptural shape to a hallway or bedroom too. The textile cable is 1.5m long, which is worth measuring against your ceiling height before you choose it. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. Its clean lines suit a modern scheme.

The structure is iron, the cable is textile rather than plastic, and the shades carry a matt black outer finish with a gold lining. It uses the G9 lamp cap, and a G9 LED is the recommended lamp, an easy choice to find when you need a replacement. The fitting runs on 220 to 240V mains and is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, hang it low over warm timber or pale stone, where the gold inside the cones picks up the colour of the surface beneath, and let the black outer finish stand out against a light wall or ceiling.

Specification

Finish

Matt Black & Gold

Materials

Iron structure, opal glass and textile cable

Height

83cm

Width

49cm

Canopy Diameter

12cm

Shade Diameter

20cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

1.5m

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

01018

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Rubi Duo Cone Pendant take?

It uses the G9 lamp cap, and a G9 LED is the recommended lamp for this fitting.

How big is the Rubi Duo Cone Pendant?

It is 83cm tall and 49cm wide overall, each cone shade is 20cm across, the ceiling canopy is 12cm across and the textile cable is 1.5m long.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a dining room, living room, bedroom or hallway.

What is it made of?

The structure is iron, the cable is textile, and the fitting includes an opal glass globe; the cone shades are matt black outside and gold inside.

What voltage does it need and who should fit it?

It runs on 220 to 240V mains, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install.

Does it carry a guarantee?

Yes, it carries a 3 year guarantee, which covers the fitting for three years from purchase.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/01018_00_lead_00ad20ea-5327-4c0c-b17d-dd183367f056.jpg?v=1791566919
