round-39-5cm-7-pendant-ceiling-canopy-with-driver
Round 7 Pendant Ceiling Canopy 39.5cm with Driver

Description

The Round is a ceiling canopy for a cluster of pendants. It is a flat, round plate 39.5cm across and just 3.9cm deep, with seven cable outlets spread across its face. It gives no light of its own. Instead it holds and powers up to seven pendants, each sold separately, feeding them at 24V DC from the 75W driver built into it. We offer it in White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black, Brushed Bronze or Brushed Brass, so the canopy can match the pendants you hang from it or sit quietly against the ceiling.

It suits anywhere a group of pendants looks better than a single light: over a dining table, in a hallway, down a stairwell or in the middle of a living room, where up to seven drops hung from one canopy fill the space with light. Because a single multi-pendant ceiling rose gathers every cable, you need just one neat disc on the ceiling rather than a scatter of separate fittings. It is for indoor rooms only. It belongs with pendants made to run at 24V DC, the power the canopy supplies, so choose those first and plan the arrangement around them.

The Round runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. Its 75W driver is built in, so there is no separate power supply box to find room for, and the canopy keeps its slim 3.9cm profile. It is not dimmable, so the pendants simply switch on and off. Whichever finish you choose, the plate is one clean, unbroken disc, with only its seven small outlets on the face. As a practical note, settle on how many pendants you want, up to seven, and which ones, before the canopy goes up, so the whole arrangement is planned from the start. Our photographs show the black version.

Specification

Finish

White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black, Brushed Bronze & Brushed Brass

Diameter

39.5cm

Height

3.9cm

Dimmable

No

Power

Mains, wired in by an electrician

Outlets

7 pendants (each sold separately)

Driver

Built in, 75W, 24V DC output

Light

None of its own: it powers the pendants hung from it

Voltage

230V

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Round ceiling canopy give any light itself?

No. It has no light of its own.
