rose-cylinder-pendant-light-matt-white
Rose Cylinder Pendant Light - Matt White

Description

The Rose pendant is a slim cylinder of smooth brass in matt white, hung from a small round ceiling canopy on a textile cable, with its light falling from the open base. It comes in three sizes, each named for the height of its cylindrical shade: the 16cm size has a shade 16cm tall and 4cm across, the 25cm size a shade 25cm tall and 4cm across, and the 40cm size a shade 40cm tall and 4cm across. Every size hangs from a canopy 6.5cm across on 1.5m of cable and takes one GU10 lamp. It is a switched, on-off fitting, so it works from an ordinary light switch rather than a dimmer.

A narrow cylinder gives useful light with very little bulk, so we like it over a dining table or a breakfast bar, above a desk, or either side of a bed in place of bedside lamps. It also suits a hallway or landing where a wide shade would crowd the space. With the 16cm shade it is at its most discreet, the 25cm shade sits well beside a bed, and the 40cm shade has the presence for a long table or a high ceiling. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only: living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, studies and halls. Its clean lines belong in a modern interior, and the matt white finish sits quietly against pale walls and ceilings.

The structure is smooth brass with a matt white finish, and it hangs on a textile cable. It runs on 220-240V mains, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, hang two or three together at different heights over a table, or mix the three sizes in a row, so the white cylinders step down in a line that still feels light and uncluttered.

Specification

Finish

Matt White

Materials

Smooth brass structure and textile cable

Shade Height

16cm (16cm), 25cm (25cm), 40cm (40cm)

Canopy Diameter

6.5cm (16cm), 6.5cm (25cm), 6.5cm (40cm)

Shade Diameter

4cm (16cm), 4cm (25cm), 4cm (40cm)

Lamp Cap

GU10

Number of Lamps

1

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

1.5m

Guarantee

3 years

Product Codes

02558, 02589, 02619

Frequently Asked

What sizes does the Rose cylinder pendant come in?

It comes in three sizes, named for the shade height: a shade 16cm tall, 25cm tall or 40cm tall, each 4cm across, with a canopy 6.5cm across and 1.5m of cable.

What lamp does the Rose pendant take?

Each size has a single GU10 lamp holder and takes one GU10 lamp, with the light falling from the open base of the cylinder.

Can I use the Rose pendant with a dimmer?

Its control is on-off, worked from an ordinary light switch, so it is made for a standard switch rather than a dimmer.

Can I hang the Rose pendant in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, studies and halls.

What is the Rose pendant made of?

The structure is smooth brass with a matt white finish, and the pendant hangs from its round ceiling canopy on a textile cable.

Does the Rose pendant carry a guarantee?

It carries a 3 year guarantee, and as a 220-240V mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/02558_00_lead_4803ab48-3488-4e7d-9eac-1c64d5bc7f5a.jpg?v=1791584951
