roma-cone-wall-light-with-opal-glass-matt-black
Roma Cone Wall Light with Opal Glass - Matt Black

Description

The Roma cone wall light reaches out from the wall on a long, slim arm and hangs a single conical shade from its tip on a cord. This brings the light out into the room rather than keeping it flat against the plaster. A round disc backplate sits against the wall, a fine wire runs from the disc to the end of the arm, and the cone drops from there. It comes in two sizes, 60cm and 120cm. The 60cm size has a disc 35cm across and a shade 21cm across, while the 120cm size has a disc 49cm across and a shade 33cm across. Both are matt black, structure and shade alike.

Because the shade hangs well out from the wall, it is a good answer wherever you want a pendant's pool of light without a ceiling point. It works beside a sofa or reading chair in a living room, over a side table in a hallway, or next to the bed. The 60cm size suits a narrower stretch of wall, and the 120cm size gives the arm room to reach right across a wider one. We think it suits anyone who likes a clean, modern look. It takes one GX53 lamp and is an on-off switched fitting. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The structure is iron and the cone shade is aluminium, with opal glass completing the fitting. The matt black finish runs across the disc, the arm and the shade, so the whole piece reads as one clean graphic line. It runs on 220-240V mains, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, we like it against a plain pale wall, where the long arm and the dark cone stand out, with a sofa or armchair set just beneath the shade.

Specification

Finish

Matt Black

Materials

Iron structure, aluminium shade and opal glass

Disc Diameter

35cm (60cm), 49cm (120cm)

Shade Diameter

21cm (60cm), 33cm (120cm)

Lamp Cap

GX53

Number of Lamps

1

Lamps Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Codes

04408, 04446

Frequently Asked

What sizes does the Roma cone wall light come in?

It comes in two sizes, 60cm and 120cm.
