rolmanne-linear-pendant-light-black-brown
Rolmanne Linear Pendant Light - Black & Brown

Description

The Rolmanne is a linear pendant light that hangs three open ring pendants from a single black ceiling bar. Each pendant pairs a ring of pale natural wood with a slimmer black ring, the two set at an angle to each other around the bulb holder, so the shape changes as you move round the room. Each of the three holders takes an E27 bulb, so you choose the colour of light. The light is 78cm long, 16cm wide and 110cm high overall. It is rated IP20, and that settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

We think it is happiest over a dining table, where three points of light run along the length of the table instead of pooling in the centre. The black and brown finish sits comfortably with pale oak, black chairs and a warm, earthy scheme, and the open rings keep it from feeling heavy above the people sitting beneath it. Because it is IP20, keep it to dry living spaces such as a dining room or an open-plan kitchen and dining area, never a bathroom or a garden. It suits anyone who wants a light with a natural, crafted feel that still looks clean and modern.

The body combines steel and wood, in black and brown. Each holder takes a bulb of up to 40W, and bulbs are not included; a warm filament bulb suits the open rings well. There is no switch on the light, as it is switched at the wall, and it runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. It weighs 3.22KG packed. As a mains light wired into the ceiling, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Before you order, measure your table so the 78cm bar can sit centred along its length.

Specification

Length

78cm

Width

16cm

Overall Height

110cm

Body Material

Steel, wood

Body Colour

Black, brown

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 3 x 40W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

3.22KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Rolmanne pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors and dry only, so it belongs in a dining room or living space, never a bathroom or a garden.

What bulbs does this pendant take?

It takes three E27 bulbs, one in each holder, of up to 40W each.
