rolmanne-3-light-pendant-black-brown
Rolmanne 3 Light Pendant - Black & Brown

Description

The Rolmanne is a three light pendant that pairs black steel with warm wood. A round black canopy and slim black arms hold three cords apart. Each cord drops to an oval wooden ring with a black inner ring curving around the lamp holder, so every bulb sits inside its own open frame. It stands 130cm tall overall and spreads 61.5cm across. Each holder takes an E27 bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are not included, so you choose the warmth of the light yourself. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

The dining room is where this pendant comes into its own. Hung over a round or square table, the three rings form a loose cluster that lights the table from more than one point, and the open frames keep the view across the room clear. It sits just as happily in a living room, a kitchen with a dining corner or a wide hallway with good headroom. The pale wood grain and black metalwork suit a Scandinavian or gently industrial scheme. With 130cm of overall height, we would plan it over a table or a seating area rather than a walkway, where people pass beneath it.

Wood is a natural material, so the grain and tone vary a little from ring to ring, which is part of the charm. There is no switch on the pendant itself. It is switched at the wall, so it runs from the light switch you already have. It works on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, and it weighs 3.912KG packed. As a wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download. For a warm glow that shows off the open rings, a clear filament E27 bulb of up to 40W is a good choice.

Specification

Overall Height

130cm

Diameter

61.5cm

Body Material

Steel, wood

Body Colour

Black, brown

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 3 x 40W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

3.912KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can this pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors in dry rooms only, so we would keep it out of bathrooms and away from water.

Are bulbs included with the Rolmanne?

No, bulbs are not included.
