roi-single-arm-ribbed-opal-glass-wall-light-gold
Roi Single Arm Ribbed Opal Glass Dome Wall Light - Gold

Description

Our Roi single arm wall light pairs a slim gold arm with a ribbed opal white glass shade, a clean modern design with a gentle glow. A round gold backplate sits against the wall, a straight arm reaches out from it, and a short upright stem drops from the arm to a flat gold disc that caps the shade. The shade is a half dome of opal white glass with fine vertical ribs all the way round, 12cm across and 9.5cm tall. Opal glass spreads the light evenly, so you see a soft glow rather than a bright point, and the ribs draw it into fine lines. It takes one G9 lamp, and we recommend a G9 LED.

It suits a hallway or landing, where a pair either side of a door or a run along one wall gives a welcoming light without glare. In a bedroom it works well either side of the bed, and in a living room or dining room it adds a soft layer of light beside a fireplace, above a sideboard or across a feature wall. The gold and opal white glass sit happily in modern rooms, and the simple lines give it a quiet place in more classic schemes too. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The base is brass in a gold finish and the shade is glass, two materials that suit each other in a modern room. It runs on 220-240V, the standard UK mains supply, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For a styling note, place a pair at the same height either side of a mirror or a console table, and let the gold pick up brass handles, picture frames or warm wood nearby; against a deep painted wall, the opal glass glows all the more.

Specification

Finish

Gold

Materials

Brass base and glass shade

Shade Height

9.5cm

Shade Diameter

12cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

02985

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What lamp does the Roi wall light take?

It has one G9 lamp holder, and the recommended lamp for it is a G9 LED, so that is the cap and type to look for.

How big is the glass shade?

The ribbed opal glass shade is 12cm across and 9.5cm tall, a compact size that sits neatly on a wall.

What is it made of?

The base is brass in a gold finish, and the shade is opal white glass with fine vertical ribs all the way round.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as hallways, living rooms and bedrooms.

Who should install it?

It is a mains fitting running on 220-240V, so it is for a qualified electrician to install.
