roi-single-arm-ribbed-fume-glass-wall-light-gold
Roi Single Arm Ribbed Fumé Glass Dome Wall Light - Gold

Description

The Roi is a single arm wall light in a gold finish, with a brass base and a ribbed dome shade in transparent fumé glass. A round gold backplate sits on the wall and a slim straight arm runs out from it, so the fitting projects 22cm. A short stem drops from the arm to a flat gold disc, and the fumé glass dome hangs beneath it, 12cm across and 9.5cm tall. Fine ribs run down its curve, breaking the light into soft vertical lines, while the fumé tint softens it to a gentle glow. It takes one G9 lamp; we recommend a G9 LED.

Being a wall light with a modest 22cm projection, the Roi suits places where a ceiling light alone leaves the walls flat: a hallway or landing, either side of a bed in place of table lamps, or in pairs flanking a mirror, a fireplace or a sofa in the living room. Its clean lines and plain round backplate sit comfortably in a modern interior, and the gold finish pairs well with warm woods, cream walls and darker painted colours alike. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The brass base carries the gold finish all the way from the round backplate along the arm and stem to the disc that caps the shade, and the ribbed fumé glass dome hangs from that disc. The fitting runs on 220 to 240 volt mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. Because the dome is small and its light is soft, the Roi works best in company: a pair either side of a headboard, a mirror or a doorway gives a balanced, finished look, and a single one beside a favourite chair or on a stair wall adds a quiet, considered point of light.

Specification

Finish

Gold

Materials

Brass base and glass shade

Projection

22cm

Shade Height

9.5cm

Shade Diameter

12cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

02978

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Roi wall light take?

It takes one G9 lamp, and we recommend a G9 LED, which suits the small fumé glass dome well.

How far does the Roi stand out from the wall?

The fitting projects 22cm from the wall, and its ribbed fumé glass dome shade is 12cm across and 9.5cm tall.

Can I use the Roi wall light in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a hallway, landing, living room or bedroom.

What is the Roi wall light made of?

It has a brass base in a gold finish, from the round backplate to the disc above the shade, and a ribbed shade in transparent fumé glass.

Can I fit the Roi wall light myself?

It runs on 220 to 240 volt mains, so it is a fitting for a qualified electrician to install.

Does the Roi wall light come with a guarantee?

Yes.
