roi-disc-ribbed-opal-flush-wall-and-ceiling-light-polished-brass
Roi Disc Ribbed Opal Flush Wall & Ceiling Light - Polished Brass

Description

The Roi is a compact flush light with a ribbed opal glass dome set against a flat disc of polished brass. It fixes flush to a ceiling or to a wall, with no stem. The shade is 12cm across and 8.5cm tall. Its white glass is fluted with fine ribs that gather towards the centre of the dome. Behind it, the 15cm polished brass disc gives the glass a bright metal frame, and the base is 10cm across and 2cm high. Opal glass is milky rather than clear, so the lamp stays out of sight behind the shade. It takes one G9 lamp, and the maker recommends a G9 LED.

Rated IP20, the Roi is for dry rooms only, and it is an indoor light. Its compact size makes it a good fit where a larger fitting would crowd the space: a hallway, a landing, a bedroom, a study or a narrow corridor. Used singly, it gives a small room a neat point of light. Used in pairs, or in a row along a corridor, it builds a quiet rhythm of brass and glass. Its modern lines sit happily with plain painted walls, pale timber and simple furniture, and the polished brass brings warmth to a cool colour scheme. We like it for anyone who wants a small, tidy light with a little shine.

The base is brass, finished in polished brass, and the shade is glass, pairing warm metal with cool, milky opal. The fluting adds texture without fuss, and the flat disc keeps the outline crisp. The fitting runs on 220-240V mains and should be installed by a qualified electrician. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, let the brass lead: it looks at home beside other brass or gold details, such as door handles, picture frames or a mirror, and the white glass sits quietly against pale paintwork.

Specification

Finish

Polished Brass

Materials

Brass base and glass shade

Base Height

2cm

Shade Height

8.5cm

Base Diameter

10cm

Disc Diameter

15cm

Shade Diameter

12cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

02756

Downloads

Assembly Instructions 1 (PDF)

Assembly Instructions 2 (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What lamp does the Roi take?

It has one G9 lamp holder, so it takes a single G9 lamp, and the maker recommends a G9 LED.

How big is the Roi?

The ribbed glass shade is 12cm across and 8.5cm tall.
