rock-cylinder-alabaster-table-lamp-dark-marble
Rock Cylinder Alabaster Table Lamp - Dark Marble

Description

Our Rock table lamp is a small cylinder in two stacked parts: an alabaster shade sitting on a black marble base, both cylindrical and the same width. It stands 19cm tall and 8.5cm across, and the base and the shade are each 9.5cm tall, so the white stone fills the top half and the dark marble the bottom. Inside, one E27 lamp holder takes a standard large screw cap lamp, which leaves you a wide choice of bulbs. When it is on, the light passes through the alabaster and brings out the cloudy veining in the stone, so the shade itself becomes the glow.

At 8.5cm across it needs very little room, so it sits happily on a bedside table, a narrow shelf, a hallway console or a desk where a larger lamp would crowd things. It is just as much at home on a dining table, where its 19cm height keeps it low enough to talk over, and it suits restaurants, bars and hotel rooms that want a small point of light on every table. The 2m textile cable gives you some reach to the nearest socket. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. Its clean, modern lines and the pairing of black and white stone sit well in pale and dark schemes alike.

The base is black marble and the shade is alabaster, a white stone with soft, cloudy markings, and a black textile cable leads from the base. It runs on 220-240V, so it suits mains supplies here in the UK, and it carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, set a pair at either end of a sideboard or mantelpiece, or let one stand alone beside a stack of books, where the black base grounds it and the white shade catches the eye.

Specification

Finish

Dark Marble

Materials

Marble base, alabaster shade and textile cable

Height

19cm

Diameter

8.5cm

Base Height

9.5cm

Shade Height

9.5cm

Lamp Cap

E27

Number of Lamps

1

Lamps Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

2m

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

01704

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Rock table lamp take?

It has one E27 lamp holder, the standard large screw cap, so it takes a single E27 lamp of your choice.

How big is the Rock table lamp?

It stands 19cm tall and 8.5cm across, with a 9.5cm tall marble base and a 9.5cm tall alabaster shade.

What is the lamp made of?

The base is marble in a black finish, the shade is alabaster, and the cable that leads from the base is textile covered.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a bedroom, living room or dining room.

How long is the cable?

The textile cable is 2m long, which gives you reasonable reach from a bedside table, sideboard or desk to a nearby socket.

Does it come with a guarantee?

Yes, it carries a 3 year guarantee, and it runs on 220-240V, which suits mains supplies in the UK.
