rivale-ceramic-globe-flush-ceiling-light-matt-white-striped
Rivale Ceramic Globe Flush Ceiling Light - Matt White Striped

Description

The Rivale is a flush ceiling light with a single glass globe set beneath a ceramic shade. The shade is glazed in Matt White Striped, with fine raised lines running out to a soft, ruffled edge that rises and falls around the globe. It sits under a rounded brass canopy that holds it close to the ceiling. It is 14cm tall and 21cm across, so it brings real character to a ceiling without coming far down into the room. It comes in five finishes: Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black and Satin Brass, with the Matt Black painted in RAL 9005. The globe comes in Opal, Clear or Frosted glass: Opal and Frosted soften the bulb, while Clear leaves it on view.

Its low height makes it a good choice for a hallway, where a pendant can feel crowded and a flush fitting keeps the space clear overhead. The ruffled ceramic against the metal suits a home with a gentler, more decorative look. The choice of finishes lets you match it to the handles, switches and other metalwork nearby. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician.

The canopy is brass, the shade is ceramic and the globe is glass, and every light is made to order for you in Ireland. The Matt White Striped glaze is the same on every version, so the two choices to make are the finish and the glass. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase, and bulbs are not covered. It takes one G9 bulb of up to 5W, and bulbs are sold separately, so have one ready for the day it is fitted. Our photographs show the Polished Brass finish.

Specification

Finish

Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black & Satin Brass

Glass

Opal, Clear & Frosted

Glaze

Matt White Striped

Paint Colours (RAL)

Matt Black RAL 9005

Material

Brass, Ceramic & Glass

Height

14cm

Width

21cm

Light Source

1 x G9 (bulb not included)

Max Bulb Wattage

5W per bulb

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Warranty

5 years (manufacturer)

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 5 to 7 weeks

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Rivale flush ceiling light take?

It takes one G9 bulb of up to 5W.
