rigoberta-duo-super-curved-alabaster-globe-pendant-light-gold
Rigoberta Duo Super Curved Alabaster Globe Pendant Light - Gold

Description

This Rigoberta pendant light hangs four alabaster globes from a gold frame in a playful, balanced arrangement. Two globes sit at the ends of a straight horizontal bar, and two more hang from the feet of a curved U-shaped arm beneath it. Each sphere is a 10cm globe of alabaster, a natural stone, which softens the light from the fitting's four G9 lamp holders into a gentle, diffused glow. The structure is iron in a gold finish, hung on a gold textile cable, and the whole pendant is 42cm tall and 49.5cm wide.

Its size and symmetry make it a good choice over a dining table, in a living room or in a hallway, where it reads as a piece of sculpture even when the lights are off. The clean, modern lines suit a contemporary interior, while the stone and gold bring a note of luxury to a more classic room. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is wired for 220-240V mains and comes with 1.5m of cable; as a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install.

Alabaster is a natural stone, and each globe shows soft veining across its white surface. The iron frame keeps the bar and arm steady and true, its gold finish matched by the gold textile cable. For the lamps, G9 LED is recommended, and each lamp should be no longer than 60mm. It carries a 3 year guarantee. When styling it, centre it over a round or square table so its symmetry reads from every seat, and hang it high enough that the lower pair of globes stays clear of heads while still sitting close enough to the table to light it well.

Specification

Finish

Gold

Materials

Iron structure, alabaster, and textile cable.
