rigoberta-duo-direct-opal-glass-globe-wall-light-matt-white
Rigoberta Duo Direct Opal Glass Globe Wall Light - Matt White

Description

The Rigoberta Duo Direct is a modern wall light made of a straight matt white bar with an opal glass globe at each end and a round plate at its centre that sits against the wall. The structure is iron and the globes are opal glass, which softens the light into an even, diffused glow with no bare bulb on view. It is 49cm wide and projects 12cm from the wall, and each globe shade is 10cm across. It has G9 lamp holders, and G9 LED is the lamp type we recommend.

Because it sits close to the wall, it works well where space is tight: along a hallway or landing, beside a staircase, or above a bed in place of a pair of bedside lamps. In a living room it makes a neat light above a sideboard or either side of a chimney breast, and in a home office it gives soft background light above a desk. The clean lines and round globes suit a modern interior, and the matt white finish sits quietly against pale walls. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only and not for anywhere it could be splashed.

The iron structure carries a matt white finish, and the opal glass globes are white too, so the whole fitting reads as one soft, pale piece. It runs on 220 to 240V mains and is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. It looks its best with the globes just above eye level, and warm white G9 LED lamps keep the glass glowing gently in the evening. Against a deep painted wall, the white bar and globes stand out crisply; against white walls they almost disappear, leaving just the glow.

Specification

Finish

Matt White

Materials

Iron structure and opal glass

Width

49cm

Projection

12cm

Shade Diameter

10cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

2

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

00097

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Rigoberta Duo Direct take?

It has G9 lamp holders, and we recommend G9 LED lamps, which suit the opal glass globes and give a soft, even glow.

Can I use this wall light in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.
