riccio-1-clip-on-lamp-18cm-white-chrome
Riccio 1 Clip On Lamp 18cm - White & Chrome

Description

The Riccio 1 is a compact clip-on lamp in white & chrome, made to grip the edge of a desk or shelf and put light exactly where you need it. A glossy white cone-shaped steel shade sits on a flexible chrome gooseneck, finished with a bright chrome ring around the face of the shade, and a white clamp holds it all in place. It stands 33cm tall and is 18cm long, so it takes up next to no room. The light comes from a GU10 bulb at 2.8W, giving 250lm, and the IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

Because it clips straight onto a surface rather than standing on a base, it suits anywhere desk space is short: a study desk, a home office, the edge of a bookshelf or a glass shelf. We like it for a reading corner or a craft table too, where a focused pool of light helps with close work. Bend the gooseneck to angle the shade down at a page or keyboard, then move the whole lamp to another edge in seconds whenever the job changes. With nothing standing on the desktop, the full surface stays free for books, papers and a cup of tea.

The body pairs plastic with steel, and the shade itself is steel, in a white & chrome finish that sits easily with pale woods and white walls. A cord switch on the cable lets you turn the light on or off without reaching up to the shade. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz, carries an energy class of F and weighs 0.433KG packed, light enough to move from room to room as your needs change. The installation instructions come as a download, so everything you need to set it up is to hand from the start.

Specification

Length

18cm

Height

33cm

Body Material

Plastic, steel

Body Colour

White, chrome

Shade Material

Steel

Shade Colour

White, chrome

Light Source

GU10 (bulb included)

Wattage

2.8W

Lumens

250lm

Switch

Cord switch

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

F

Weight (packed)

0.433KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can I use the Riccio 1 clip-on lamp in a bathroom?

No. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room, so keep it well away from water and out of bathrooms and gardens.

What bulb does the lamp take?

It takes a GU10 bulb at 2.8W with an output of 250lm, a focused amount of light that suits desk work and reading.

How big is the lamp?

It is 18cm long and 33cm tall, compact enough to clip to the edge of a desk or shelf without crowding the space around it.

How is the light switched?

It has a cord switch on the cable, so you can turn the light on or off from the desk without touching the shade.

Can the shade be angled?

Yes.
