rendez-vous-cone-led-pendant-light-matt-black
Rendez-vous Cone LED Pendant Light - Matt Black

Description

The Rendez-vous is a small cone pendant light in matt black, with an integrated LED hidden inside the head, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The cone is just 7cm across and 4.2cm tall, and it hangs on a fine cable with a maximum drop of 300cm. It gives 111lm of warm 2700K light in a focused 25° beam, and with a CRI of 90, colours on the table look true. It draws 1.6W or 2W, depending on the version.

We like it over a dining table, where several hung at different heights give a soft, scattered glow, or in a living room over a side table or a favourite chair. The narrow beam keeps the light where you want it rather than across the whole room, so it works well alongside other lighting. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. It comes in two versions. With canopy, it arrives with its own canopy, 5.5cm across and 13cm tall, to sit neatly on the ceiling. Without canopy, for multi-pendant canopies (sold separately), it is made to hang alongside others from one shared canopy, which you buy on its own.

The matt black finish is quiet and even, and the cone's clean, simple shape keeps the look light from any angle, whether you hang one or a group. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. As a practical note, measure from the ceiling to where you want the cone to sit before you order: with up to 300cm of drop, it suits standard ceilings and taller, open rooms alike.

Specification

Finish

Matt Black

Diameter

7cm

Height

4.2cm

Canopy Diameter

5.5cm

Canopy Height

13cm

Max Drop

300cm

Light Source

Integrated LED

LED Power

1.6W or 2W (by version)

Luminous Flux

111lm

Colour Temperature

2700K

CRI

90

Beam Angle

25°

Power

Mains, wired in by an electrician

Voltage

230V

IP Rating

IP20

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Rendez-vous pendant need a bulb?

No. It has an integrated LED inside the cone, giving 111lm of warm 2700K light, so there is no bulb to buy or replace.

How big is the Rendez-vous cone and how far can it drop?

The cone is 7cm across and 4.2cm tall, and it can hang on a cable with a maximum drop of 300cm.

Can I use this pendant light in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a dining room or a living room.

What is the difference between the canopy versions?

With canopy, it comes with its own canopy, 5.5cm across and 13cm tall.
