reina-opal-glass-pendant-light-matt-polished-brass
Reina Opal Glass Pendant Light - Matt Polished Brass

Description

The Reina is a small modern pendant light in matt polished brass, with an opal glass shade set beneath a flat brass disc. A slim cylindrical brass body runs down to the disc, and under it sits the soft, rounded shade, 6.5cm across, which spreads the light evenly, so you see a gentle glow rather than a bright point. The disc is 19.5cm across, the fitting is 18.5cm tall, and it hangs from an 8cm ceiling canopy on a 1.5m textile cable. Its light source is the Dash bulb type, rated at 4W and giving 330 lumens of warm 2700K light, with a colour rendering index of 85 or more, so colours look true.

Hang it over a dining table, beside a bed in place of a table lamp, or in a hallway or on a landing where a smaller fitting suits the space. At 330 lumens it gives a soft, warm glow that works well as ambient or accent light, and a few hung in a row or at staggered heights over a long table let the discs repeat along its length. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and studies. The clean lines and warm metal suit a modern scheme.

The structure and disc are brass in a matt polished finish, which gives a soft, low sheen rather than a mirror shine, the shade is opal glass and the cable is textile. It works from a standard on-off switch rather than a dimmer and runs on 220-240V mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, let the brass pick up other warm metal in the room, such as a mirror frame or cabinet handles, and pair it with natural wood and linen to keep the look relaxed.

Specification

Finish

Matt Polished Brass

Materials

Brass structure and disc, opal glass shade and textile cable

Height

18.5cm

Canopy Diameter

8cm

Disc Diameter

19.5cm

Shade Diameter

6.5cm

Light Source

Dash bulb

Lamps Included

Yes

Power

4W

Light Output

330 lumens

Colour Temperature

2700K

CRI

≥ 85

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

1.5m

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

04576

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Is the Reina pendant dimmable?

No. It is an on-off fitting worked from a standard light switch, so it does not need or use a dimmer.

What light source does it use and how bright is it?

Its light source is the Dash bulb type, rated at 4W and giving 330 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 85 or more.

Can I hang it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways.

How big is it?

The fitting is 18.5cm tall, with a 19.5cm brass disc, a 6.5cm opal glass shade and an 8cm ceiling canopy, on a 1.5m textile cable.

What is it made of?

The structure and disc are brass in a matt polished brass finish, the shade is opal glass and the cable is textile.

Who should install it?

It runs on 220-240V mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install, and it carries a 3 year guarantee.
