reina-opal-glass-pendant-light-matt-black-and-matt-polished-brass
Reina Opal Glass Pendant Light - Matt Black & Matt Polished Brass

Description

The Reina is a modern pendant light in matt black and matt polished brass, built from a brass structure and disc with an opal glass shade, hung on a textile cable. A slim black cylindrical body drops into a wide, flat brass disc, and beneath it sits a small rounded opal glass shade, 6.5cm across, that softens the light into an even glow. The whole fitting is 18.5cm tall and 19.5cm across, so it reads clearly without crowding a room. The light source is a Dash bulb rated at 4W, giving 330 lumens at a warm 2700K with a CRI of 85 or more, so colours and skin tones look natural.

We would hang it where a soft pool of light is wanted rather than a bright wash: over a dining table, beside the bed in place of a lamp, along a hallway or on a landing. At 330 lumens it gives a gentle, accent level of light, so in a larger room it works best in a row or alongside other lighting. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry rooms indoors. The fitting is switched on and off rather than dimmed, which keeps it simple: it suits a room where you want the same calm light each evening.

The disc's matt polished brass sits against the matt black body, and the textile cable is 1.5m long, hung from an 8cm canopy. It runs on 220-240V mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install, and it carries a 3 year guarantee. To style it, let the brass disc pick up other warm metals in the room, a brass mirror frame or cabinet handles perhaps, and hang the opal shade low over a table so the glow falls where you sit.

Specification

Finish

Matt Black & Matt Polished Brass

Materials

Brass structure and disc, opal glass shade and textile cable

Height

18.5cm

Diameter

19.5cm

Canopy Diameter

8cm

Shade Diameter

6.5cm

Light Source

Dash bulb

Power

4W

Light Output

330 lumens

Colour Temperature

2700K

CRI

≥ 85

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

1.5m

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

04569

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can I dim the Reina pendant?

No. The Reina is an on-off switched fitting, so it is not made for dimming; it gives the same warm 2700K light each time it is on.

How bright is the Reina pendant light?

Its Dash bulb is rated at 4W and gives 330 lumens at 2700K, a soft, warm accent light rather than a bright main light for a large room.

How big is the Reina pendant?

The pendant is 18.5cm tall and 19.5cm across, with a 6.5cm opal glass shade, an 8cm canopy and a 1.5m textile cable.

Can the Reina pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a dining room, bedroom, hallway or landing.

What is the Reina pendant made of?

It has a brass structure and disc, an opal glass shade and a textile cable, finished in matt black and matt polished brass.

What guarantee does the Reina pendant carry?

It carries a 3 year guarantee, and as a 220-240V mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install.
