reiko-cone-pendant-light-with-wood-base-matt-white
Reiko Cone Pendant Light with Wood Base - Matt White

Description

The Reiko is a pendant light with a matt white aluminium shade under a conical base in natural ash wood, hung on a textile cable. From the narrow wood cone the shade swells into a soft, rounded dome and finishes in an open rim that sends the light downwards onto whatever sits beneath it. The fitting is 24cm tall, the shade is 21cm across and the ceiling canopy is 8cm across, which makes it a compact pendant that sits comfortably where a larger shade would crowd the space. The matt white finish keeps the surface soft and low in shine, and the pale grain of the ash adds a little warmth.

Its Scandinavian, modern lines suit pale, simple interiors as well as warmer rooms with timber floors and furniture. Because the shade is modest in size, it works well hung as a pair or in a row over a dining table or a breakfast bar, where a few smaller pendants share the work of one larger fitting. A single Reiko also suits a hallway, a landing or a reading corner, and it gives a small bedroom or study a central light without filling the ceiling. It is an indoor fitting, so it belongs in the rooms inside the house.

The shade is aluminium, the base is natural ash wood and the cable is textile, a pairing of light, clean metal with real timber that suits the Scandinavian look. Because the ash is a natural material, its grain will differ a little from one fitting to the next. It is for a qualified electrician to install. For styling, we like to pick up the ash with other pale woods in the room, such as oak or birch chairs, a light timber table or open shelving, and set the white shade against white or soft grey walls so the wood detail draws the eye.

Specification

Finish

Matt White

Materials

Aluminium shade, natural ash wood base and textile cable

Height

24cm

Canopy Diameter

8cm

Shade Diameter

21cm

Lamp Cap

E27

Number of Lamps

1

Lamps Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

1.5m

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

01650

Frequently Asked

What is the Reiko pendant made of?

The shade is aluminium in a matt white finish, the conical base is natural ash wood and the pendant hangs on a textile cable.

How big is the Reiko pendant light?

The fitting is 24cm tall and its shade is 21cm across, with an 8cm ceiling canopy, so it is a compact pendant for smaller spaces or for hanging in groups.

Is the wood on the Reiko real wood?

Yes, the base is natural ash wood, so its grain and tone will vary slightly from one fitting to the next.

Can I hang several Reiko pendants together?

Yes.
