regina-globe-wall-light-with-terrazzo-structure-terrazzo-black
Regina Globe Wall Light with Terrazzo Structure - Terrazzo Black

Description

The Regina globe wall light pairs a single opal glass globe with a wide half-moon of black terrazzo flecked with white. The 10cm globe sits at the centre of the half-moon, whose curved edge is stepped in concentric bands, so the outline reads in layers even before the light is on. Opal glass softens the lamp into an even glow, and the terrazzo around it picks up that light across its flecks. The fitting is 25cm tall and 48cm wide, and it projects 12.5cm from the wall. It has one G9 lamp holder, and we recommend a G9 LED lamp for it.

At 48cm wide it holds a wall much as a piece of art would, so it suits a spot where it will be seen: either side of a bed, above a console table in a hallway, on a landing, or along a living room or dining room wall. With a projection of 12.5cm it stays close to the wall, which helps in a narrow hallway or passage. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. Its modern lines and graphic terrazzo pattern suit a contemporary scheme, and the black finish gives a strong contrast on a pale wall.

The base is iron, the half-moon structure is terrazzo made from recycled plastic, and the globe is opal glass. That gives you the speckled look of terrazzo from recycled material. It runs on 220-240V, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, set the black terrazzo against a light wall colour and keep what surrounds it simple, so the half-moon and its globe read clearly; a pair either side of a mirror or a fireplace gives a balanced, symmetrical look.

Specification

Finish

Terrazzo Black

Materials

Iron base, recycled plastic terrazzo structure and opal glass

Height

25cm

Width

48cm

Projection

12.5cm

Shade Diameter

10cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

00660

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Regina wall light take?

It has one G9 lamp holder, and we recommend a G9 LED lamp, which sits inside the 10cm opal glass globe.

How big is the Regina wall light?

It is 25cm tall and 48cm wide, and it projects 12.5cm from the wall, with a 10cm opal glass globe at its centre.

What is the terrazzo made from?

The terrazzo structure is made from recycled plastic and sits on an iron base, with an opal glass globe for the light.

Where can I use this wall light?

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a bedroom, hallway, landing, living room or dining room.

Does it come with a guarantee?

Yes.
