reactive-glaze-textured-ceramic-bottle-vase-28cm-grey
Reactive Glaze Textured Ceramic Bottle Vase 28cm - Grey

Description

This ceramic bottle vase pairs a soft grey reactive glaze with a cream neck, bringing a calm note to a shelf or side table. It stands 28cm tall and 13cm across, with rounded shoulders that narrow to a short neck above a straight, generous body. The glaze falls in bands: a creamy top, a wide textured band of pale blue-grey where the reactive glaze has settled into a speckled, frosted surface, and a smooth grey band around the base. It is a simple shape that lets the glaze do the talking.

The short neck holds a loose handful of stems upright, so a few tulips, a sprig of greenery or a bunch of dried grasses will sit neatly without much arranging. At 28cm tall it suits a mantelpiece, a hallway console, a dining table or a bedside, and it looks just as good on its own between books on a shelf. The soft grey and cream tones settle easily alongside natural wood, linen and white walls. We think it makes a thoughtful new home gift, one that fits almost any room in a first flat or a family house.

It is made from ceramic with a reactive glaze finish, and it stands upright on its own base, so it needs no stand or holder. Dust it with a soft dry cloth and wipe the outside with a damp cloth when needed. With fresh flowers, change the water every few days and rinse the inside by hand before refilling. As a gift, add a few stems from the garden or the market and tie a ribbon around the neck; it needs nothing more.

Specification

Material

Ceramic

Colour

Grey

Height

28cm

Width

13cm

Depth

13cm

Weight

1.126kg

Occasion

New Home

Frequently Asked

How tall is this vase?

The vase stands 28cm tall and measures 13cm across, a useful middle size for a mantelpiece, shelf, sideboard or dining table.

What is the vase made from?

It is ceramic, finished in a reactive glaze that gives the pale blue-grey middle band its speckled, textured surface, with a cream neck above.

What colour is the vase?

Grey is the main colour.
