The frame itself is constructed from bevelled mirror panels set at angles to catch and refract light, creating a stepped depth effect around the perimeter. The 2cm overall depth projects slightly from the wall, giving the mirror a three-dimensional presence rather than sitting flush.

Designed for vertical wall mounting in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms, the Ray suits spaces where a larger reflective surface is needed without the visual weight of a solid frame. The 103cm height works above console tables, dressers or in narrow hallways where vertical orientation maximises the usable mirror area. The clear bevelled frame allows the mirror to recede into lighter-coloured walls or add depth to darker walls by reflecting surrounding tones rather than introducing a contrasting frame colour.

The bevelled edges on both the frame and the central mirror catch light at different angles depending on time of day and light source position, adding movement to what would otherwise be a static reflective plane. The wood backing structure carries an 11kg total weight, requiring secure wall fixings into masonry or timber studs rather than plasterboard alone. The clear frame construction pairs comfortably with both warm-toned interiors (oak, walnut, brass) and cooler palettes (greys, whites, chrome) without clashing.

Specification

Product Size

103 x 77cm

Depth

2cm

Weight

11kg

Material

Wood

Frequently Asked

What fixings are needed for an 11kg mirror?

The 11kg weight requires secure wall fixings into masonry or timber studs. Two heavy-duty mirror plates or D-rings and appropriate wall plugs rated for at least 15kg are recommended. Plasterboard alone will not support this weight safely.

Can it be hung horizontally?

The mirror is designed for vertical orientation (103cm high x 77cm wide). It can physically be mounted horizontally, but the proportions are better suited to vertical hanging above furniture or in hallways.

How is the bevelled frame cleaned?

Wipe both the central mirror and the bevelled frame panels with a soft microfibre cloth and standard glass cleaner. The angled bevels can collect dust in the stepped edges, so wipe along the bevel direction rather than across it to avoid streaking.

Does the frame add much visual bulk?

The clear bevelled frame reflects surrounding colours and light rather than introducing a solid border, so it reads as lighter and less dominant than an equivalent opaque frame of the same width. The stepped bevel adds depth without adding visual weight.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/BC669_2f3ddc1c-2935-42fd-aa1f-bb89f0e9f441.jpg?v=1724099319
