The ribs run the full height of the glass and there are small bubbles through it. A rust coloured fabric flex loops over the top of the pivot into the fitting. It is 18.3cm tall, 10cm wide and stands 21.4cm out from the wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe thumbscrews are the point of it: slacken them and the shade tips, tighten them and it stays. Over a worktop or a run of open shelving that means the light can be put on the work rather than on the wall. It takes one E14 bulb up to 40W, it works on a dimmer, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.
