It is made in a larger size as well, and the two stand side by side on a console with the larger one set behind the smaller. At 2cm deep it holds the print behind glass and sits close to whatever it leans on.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe frame is sand cast aluminium and the glazing is glass. Sand casting means a mould is packed in sand, the aluminium is heated until it runs, and the casting is lifted out once it has cooled; almost all of the material can go round again, and the antique brass finish is applied afterwards.
