rain-fabric-pendant-light-chestnut
Rain Scalloped Fabric Pendant Light - Chestnut

Description

The Rain is a fabric pendant light with real character. Its white fabric shade is gathered into soft, rounded scallops that ripple around the edge, a little like an open umbrella catching the rain. Beneath it, a tapered centre of natural chestnut wood points downwards, and the whole pendant hangs from a blue textile cable that draws a bright line of colour from the ceiling. It measures 31cm tall and 40cm across, with a 21cm tall shade, so it fills the space over a table without looking heavy. It takes one G9 lamp, and a G9 LED is the lamp we recommend, so look for that cap when you choose one.

Its blend of modern and Scandinavian style makes it an easy choice for a dining room, centred over the table, and it sits just as happily in a living room, bedroom, hallway or study. The fabric gives a gentle, homely glow that suits relaxed evenings and quiet reading corners alike. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It runs on 220-240V mains and hangs on a 1.5m cable from a 12cm canopy; as with any mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install.

The structure is natural chestnut wood, the shade is fabric and the cable is blue textile, a mix of warm, tactile materials that keeps the look relaxed. The white shade lets the chestnut tone and its grain stand out at the centre. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, let the blue cable play against pale walls and natural timber furniture, or hang a pair over a long dining table for a calm Scandinavian feel.

Specification

Finish

Chestnut

Materials

Natural chestnut wood structure, fabric shade and blue textile cable

Height

31cm

Diameter

40cm

Shade Height

21cm

Canopy Diameter

12cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

1.5m

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

01681

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What lamp does the Rain fabric pendant take?

It has one G9 lamp holder, and a G9 LED is the lamp we recommend for it, so look for the G9 cap when you choose.

How big is the Rain pendant light?

It is 31cm tall and 40cm across.
