radial-27-5cm-8-pendant-ceiling-canopy-with-driver
Radial 8 Pendant Ceiling Canopy 27.5cm with Driver

Description

The Radial is a round ceiling canopy, 27.5cm across and 3.7cm high, made to hang a cluster of up to eight pendants from one point on the ceiling. It gives no light of its own. Its built-in 30W driver takes 230V mains and feeds the pendants at 24V DC, so the low-voltage supply they need is already in the canopy. It comes in six finishes: White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black, Brushed Bronze and Brushed Brass.

Hung over a dining table, in a stairwell or in a tall hallway, a cluster of pendants from one canopy brings several lights together at a single ceiling point. It is for indoor rooms only. It needs pendants to work: up to eight, each sold separately and each fed at 24V DC by the canopy's built-in driver. The accessory for hanging the electric cable is not included and is sold separately; it is the part that hangs the cable. The driver is DALI or push dimmable, so the cluster can be dimmed from a DALI control system or a compatible push switch.

The face is a plain, flat disc set on an octagonal body, which keeps the canopy slim and quiet against the ceiling at just 3.7cm high. The brushed finishes carry a fine, even grain, while White, Black and Matt Black give a solid colour. Choose a finish that suits your pendants, or one that matches the ceiling so the canopy all but disappears. Because the driver is built in, there is no separate power supply to find a home for in the ceiling void. It is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician, so it is worth choosing your pendants before the work is booked and having the whole cluster put up in one visit.
