pomelo-printed-floral-duvet-cover-set-yellow
Pomelo Printed Floral Duvet Cover Set - Yellow

Description

The Pomelo duvet cover set is a printed floral that runs across a bright yellow ground, with trailing stems, open blooms, butterflies and small perching birds worked in reds, pinks, blues and greens. It is a polycotton, a blend of 50% cotton and 50% polyester, and it comes in four sizes from single through double and king to super king, so you can match it to the bed you already have. The print reverses to a white ground carrying the same botanical drawing, which means one cover gives you two quite different looks depending on which way you dress the bed.

This is a set for a room you want to feel warm and full rather than pared back. The yellow ground is the loud note, so it sits happiest against plain walls and simple bedheads, where it can be the thing your eye goes to. It works well in a bedroom that already leans colourful, and the white reverse is the calmer option for anyone who wants the same pattern turned down a notch. Pair it with knitted throws and a few scattered cushions and the bed reads as a considered whole rather than a single busy layer.

The blend is the reason this washes and wears the way it does: cotton keeps the surface soft and breathable against the skin, while polyester helps the cover hold its shape and shrug off creasing, so it needs little fuss once it comes off the line. The duvet cover closes with buttons along the opening, which keep the duvet in place, and the pillowcases use an envelope closure that tucks the pillow away without any fastening to feel through the cotton. Made using easy care polycotton, it is built for a bed that gets used rather than admired.

Specification

Material

50% cotton, 50% polyester

Design

Printed tropical floral with birds and butterflies, white floral reverse

Construction

Button-fastening duvet cover, envelope-closure pillowcases

Size

Single to super king

Frequently Asked

What is the duvet cover made from?

It is a polycotton blend of 50% cotton and 50% polyester, which gives you the softness of cotton against the skin with the crease resistance and durability of polyester.

Is the pattern the same on both sides?

No. The front carries the floral print on a bright yellow ground, and the reverse carries a related botanical print on a white ground, so you effectively get two looks in one cover.

How does the cover fasten?

The duvet cover closes with buttons along the opening to hold the duvet in place, while the pillowcases use an envelope closure that tucks the pillow in without any buttons or ties.

What sizes can I buy?

The set comes in single, double, king and super king, so you can match it to your existing duvet and bed rather than buying a size that only nearly fits.

How many pillowcases come in the set?

The single set includes one pillowcase and the double, king and super king sets each include two, so check the size you are ordering against how many you need.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/riva-pomelo_d01_yel-3-src_4_91faebd9-c5c8-4255-b62f-999bb11a2c46.jpg?v=1787196961
