pomelo-printed-floral-duvet-cover-set-verdi
Pomelo Printed Floral Duvet Cover Set - Verdi

Description

The Pomelo duvet cover set carries a busy tropical floral print worked over a green ground, with trailing branches, open blooms, butterflies and small perched birds threaded through the pattern in reds, pinks, blues and warm yellows. It comes in four sizes, single through to super king, and is made from a polycotton blend of 50% cotton and 50% polyester. The face is the green floral you see across the front of the bed; turn the cover and the same botanical drawing repeats over a white ground, so the set reads two ways depending on how it is folded back.

This is a set for a room that welcomes colour rather than one that keeps to neutrals. It sits happily against a dark metal bed frame, painted furniture and warm timber, and the white-ground reverse gives you a calmer face to show if the full green print is a lot for the space. Layer it with a mustard knit throw or a red patterned cushion and the print holds its own; keep the walls plain and let the bedding do the talking. It suits a main bedroom, a spare room you want to feel generous, or anywhere a plain scheme could use a lift.

The blend is the practical part. Cotton keeps the cover breathable and comfortable to sleep under, while the polyester half helps it hold its shape and settle with little fuss after a wash. The duvet cover closes with buttons along the opening, and the pillowcases use an envelope closure that tucks the pillow in behind a flap. The single set includes one pillowcase; the double, king and super king each include two. It shares its bird-and-flower drawing with the wider Pomelo range if you want to build the look out further.

Specification

Material

50% cotton, 50% polyester

Design

Printed tropical floral, birds and butterflies, white floral reverse

Construction

Button-fastening duvet cover, envelope-closure pillowcases

Size

Single to super king

Included

Single: cover and one pillowcase.
