pismarne-glass-2-light-pendant-37-5cm-satin-nickel
Pismarne Glass 2 Light Pendant 37.5cm - Satin Nickel

Description

The Pismarne is a two light glass pendant with a wide, softly flattened shade in white matt opal glass, hung on three slim wires from a round ceiling canopy. A narrow collar crowns the shade, and the steel body is finished in satin nickel. It measures 37.5cm across and 110cm high overall. Two E27 lampholders take bulbs of up to 60W each, and bulbs are not included, so you can choose the warmth of white you prefer. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

Opal glass hides the bulbs from view and spreads their light evenly, so the whole shade glows gently without harsh glare. That makes the Pismarne a natural choice over a dining table, where the generous width casts light across the whole tabletop, or in a living room above a coffee table. The white glass and satin nickel are neutral enough to sit happily with grey walls, pale woods and soft textiles, so it settles into a modern or a more relaxed scheme with equal ease. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, so it works from the light switch you already have.

The canopy and the collar are steel in satin nickel, a soft, low-sheen finish rather than a mirror shine. With the light off and the glass cool, a soft dry cloth keeps the shade and metalwork looking fresh. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and, as a wired-in ceiling light, should be installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions come as a download, and the packed weight is 3.46KG. Have two E27 bulbs ready on fitting day and the shade can glow from the very first evening.

Specification

Overall Height

110cm

Diameter

37.5cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Satin nickel

Shade Material

Matte-opal glass

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 2 x 60W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

3.46KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Pismarne pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which suits dry indoor rooms such as living rooms and dining rooms, and not bathrooms or anywhere outdoors.

Which bulbs does this pendant take?

It takes two E27 bulbs of up to 60W each.
