paz-glass-7-light-linear-pendant-light-black-brushed-brass
Paz Glass 7 Light Linear Pendant Light - Black & Brushed Brass

Description

Paz is a linear pendant light with seven white glass globes hung from one long black ceiling canopy. Two brushed brass bars each carry a globe at either end, and three slim black rods each hold a single globe beneath the bars, so the shades sit at two heights in a balanced, open pattern. The body is steel in black and brushed brass, and the shades are white matt opal glass, which turns each bulb into a soft, even glow rather than a bright point. It is 144.5cm long, 19.5cm wide and 150cm high overall. Each globe takes an E14 bulb of up to 40W, and bulbs are not included. Its IP20 rating means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

We think it suits a long surface best. Its narrow, linear shape follows the line of a dining table or a kitchen island, so light falls along the whole length rather than pooling in the middle, and it sits just as comfortably above a sofa in a living room. The black and brushed brass pairing works with warm woods, pale walls and painted panelling alike, and the opal glass keeps the light gentle for long evening meals. One pendant spreads seven points of light across the space, which saves fitting several separate ones in a row.

The frame and long canopy are steel finished in black, with the two cross bars in brushed brass, and every globe is white opal glass. There is no switch on the light itself, as it is switched at the wall. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, and as a wired-in ceiling light it should be installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions come as a download, and it weighs 5.742KG packed. When ordering, pick seven E14 bulbs of 40W or less, since none come in the box.

Specification

Length

144.5cm

Width

19.5cm

Overall Height

150cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Black, brushed brass

Shade Material

Matte-opal glass

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

E14 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 7 x 40W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

5.742KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Paz pendant be used in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoor, dry rooms only, so keep it away from bathrooms, damp areas and anywhere outdoors.

What bulbs does it take?

Each of the seven globes takes an E14 bulb of up to 40W.
