oval-swirl-glass-led-touch-table-lamp-23-5cm-champagne
Oval Swirl Glass LED Touch Table Lamp 23.5cm - Champagne

Description

This oval glass table lamp brings a soft, sculpted look to a quiet corner, with deep ribs that twist around the shade from top to bottom in a gentle swirl. The glass is a pale champagne colour, somewhere between peach and cream, and it sits on a round, gold-coloured base with a polished finish. It stands 23.5cm tall and 16cm across, a compact size that suits a small surface without crowding it. As an LED touch lamp, it turns on and off with a light touch, which makes it easy to use in the dark.

We like it on a bedside table, where its modest height suits a calm end to the day. It sits just as happily on a living room side table, a hallway console, a dressing table or a bookshelf, anywhere in a dry room indoors that could use a little extra light. Its rounded form and fluid ribbing look good when it is switched off too, so it works as a decorative piece during the day. The champagne glass pairs well with natural wood, cream walls and soft neutrals, while the gold-coloured base picks up brass and gold accents nearby.

The shade is ribbed glass with a twisting pattern that catches the eye, and when the lamp is lit the whole shade glows a soft amber. The round, flat base lets it stand steadily on any level surface. For care, switch it off first, then dust the glass with a soft dry cloth; a slightly damp cloth lifts fingermarks, followed by a dry one, and a soft brush reaches into the ribs. Keep water well away from the base. Set it beside a stack of books or a small plant on a side table and it adds a gentle, welcoming light to the room as the evenings draw in.

Specification

Material

Glass

Colour

Champagne

Height

23.5cm

Width

16cm

Depth

16cm

Weight

1.104kg

Frequently Asked

How big is this table lamp?

It stands 23.5cm tall and measures 16cm across at its widest, a compact size that suits a bedside table, side table or shelf.

What is the shade made of?

The shade is glass in a pale champagne colour, ribbed in a twisting swirl pattern, and it sits on a round gold-coloured base.

How do you switch the lamp on and off?

It is an LED touch lamp, so you turn it on and off with a light touch, which is handy at the bedside.

Can I use this lamp in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. This lamp is for dry rooms indoors, such as bedrooms, living rooms, studies and hallways, and is not for bathrooms, kitchens or outdoor spaces.

How should I clean the glass shade?

Switch it off, then dust the glass with a soft dry cloth.
