otoro-recycled-glass-pendant-light-clear-small-round
Otoro Small Round Recycled Glass Pendant Light - Clear

Description

The small round Otoro is a flattened sphere of clear glass, wider than it is tall, closed all round apart from a small opening at the top and a flat circular foot underneath. A brass collar caps the opening and the lampholder hangs inside it, in full view through the glass. A brass chain runs up beside a brown fabric flex to a brass ceiling rose. It is 21cm tall and 31cm across.

The round shade puts its size into width where the oval puts it into height. At 31cm across it covers a wider circle below and sits closer to the ceiling, which suits a low ceiling or a spot where a long shade would be in the way. The glass is clear, so the bulb shows through it from every side and the shape of the bulb counts. It takes one E27 bulb up to 60W, it is dimmable, the flex runs 1.5m, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

The glass is recycled and blown by hand into a mould, so the wall thickness and the small marks in it differ from one shade to the next. The fittings are brass. The Otoro range runs to nineteen pieces: oval and round shades in small and large, in clear, green, smoke and honey, plus a cluster pendant and four wall lights. Bulbs are not included.

Specification

Height

21cm

Diameter

31cm

Material

Glass

Colour

Clear

Recommended bulb

E27

Max watt

60W

Cord length

1.5m

Dimmable

Yes

IP Rating

IP20

Weight

2.69kg

Downloads

Instruction Manual (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What is the difference between the round and the oval?

The round is a flattened sphere, wider than it is tall.
