osier-ceramic-flush-ceiling-light-blue-earth
Osier Ceramic Flush Ceiling Light - Blue Earth

Description

The Osier flush ceiling light pairs a cylindrical ceramic shade with a round ceiling plate, so it sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging on a drop. The shade carries the Blue Earth glaze, a blue-green surface with fine crackle lines running through it, and light falls from its open base. It is made of brass and ceramic and measures 19.5cm tall and 12cm across. The metalwork comes in six finishes: Antique Silver, Antique Brass, Matt Black, Polished Brass, Polished Copper or Satin Brass, with the Matt Black painted in RAL 9005. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes one E27 bulb of up to 40W.

At 19.5cm tall, it is a sensible choice for a hallway, where a pendant can crowd a lower ceiling and a compact fitting keeps the space clear overhead. A few along a long hallway give an even run of light from one end to the other. Choose the finish to suit the room: Antique Silver or Antique Brass for an aged look, Polished Brass or Polished Copper for a bright shine, Satin Brass for a softer gleam, or Matt Black for a crisp outline against a pale ceiling. Whichever you pick, the glaze stays the same Blue Earth. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

We have every Osier light made to order for you in Ireland, pairing the glazed ceramic shade with brass metalwork in the finish you choose. It is a Class I fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician, and it fixes to the ceiling on its round plate. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. When you plan the hallway, think about how many fittings you want and where the light should fall, then pick one finish for all of them so the run looks as one. Our photographs show the Antique Silver, Antique Brass, Matt Black, Polished Brass, Polished Copper and Satin Brass finishes.

Specification

Finish

Antique Silver, Antique Brass, Matt Black, Polished Brass, Polished Copper & Satin Brass

Glaze

Blue Earth

Paint Colours (RAL)

Matt Black RAL 9005

Material

Brass & Ceramic

Height

19.5cm

Width

12cm

Light Source

1 x E27 (bulb not included)

Max Bulb Wattage

40W per bulb

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Warranty

5 years (manufacturer)

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 5 to 7 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Osier flush ceiling light come with a bulb?

No. Bulbs are sold separately.
