Hung over a console the gilding usually reads best gathered to one side; over a fireplace it tends to want the weight at the top. Because it turns through a full circle on the fixing, that decision is not made once at installation and left, and it can be changed with the seasons or when the furniture moves. It suits a hallway, a living room or a bedroom, and it combines with the other sizes in the Ornato range if a group is wanted rather than a single piece. It is not rated for bathroom use, so keep it to dry rooms. Two screws with washers and plugs are supplied and there is nothing to assemble.
