Four panes of clear glass sit between the corner posts, and one of them is a door, held shut by a slim pin that lifts out of its loops so the pane swings clear. The floor is bare galvanised metal and the roof carries a shallow open trough, with a looped wire bracket to either side of it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt takes a tealight, standing on the metal floor. At 6cm deep it sits on a narrow mantelpiece without overhanging the front, and it belongs equally on a dining table or a sideboard. Because the glass runs on all four sides the flame shows from any direction, and the frame reads as four thin dark lines rather than as a solid edge.
