The glass is clear and carries trapped bubbles and flecks right through the wall, dense enough to read as a grey mottle against a plain background and much paler in front of a light wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA 9cm opening takes a handful of stems rather than one, and at 27cm the vase is tall enough to hold branches cut long. It weighs 1.7kg empty, which is heavy for a vase of that height.
