It uses a FET transistor system, which already has overdrive and distortion behaviour of its own. That approach brings out the harmonic content and breaks the distortion into a finer grit, closer to the way a valve does. Leads sing longer and richer, rhythm playing stays open and expressive, and the overall response is dynamic with clear note definition that helps you cut through a dense mix while keeping a fat mid-range.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pedal switches between true bypass and buffer bypass, so you can choose what works best for your signal chain and cable runs.
