nightmare-before-christmas-zero-resin-plaque-black-and-gold
Nightmare Before Christmas Zero Resin Plaque - Black & Gold

Description

This black and gold resin plaque brings Zero, the little ghost dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas, to your wall, drifting past a crescent moon with his long ears streaming behind him. The scene is raised in relief, so the gold catches the light against the deep black ground, and stars, soft clouds and open flowers fill the sky around him. An oval border with a scalloped edge holds it all, picked out in gold scrollwork, with a small skull face at the top and a little bow at the bottom. It measures 19cm high, 16cm across and 2.5cm deep.

At 19cm high it is a compact piece, so it sits happily in a small space where a larger picture would crowd the wall: beside a bookcase, above a desk, at the end of a hallway or in a gallery wall of black frames and gothic prints. It suits a bedroom, a living room or a study equally well. The gold lifts well against pale or grey walls, and the black keeps it grounded on darker paint. It works all year round as part of a darker, moodier scheme, and it pairs well with candlesticks, dark glassware and other pieces in black and gold.

The plaque is made of resin, which holds the fine detail of the stars and petals crisply, and the back is plain black with a hanger set at the top, so it goes up on a single picture hook or nail. At 2.5cm deep it sits close to the wall. To care for it, dust it with a soft dry cloth and keep harsh cleaners away from the gold finish. For a balanced look, hang it at eye level on its own, or group it with two or three small frames so Zero has a little company.

Specification

Material

Resin

Colour

Black & Gold

Height

19cm

Width

16cm

Depth

2.5cm

Weight

0.27kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the Zero plaque?

It measures 19cm high, 16cm across and 2.5cm deep, a compact size that suits a small stretch of wall or a gallery arrangement.

How does the plaque hang on the wall?

There is a hanger at the top of the back, so it hangs from a single picture hook or nail like a small framed picture.

What is the plaque made of?

The plaque is made of resin, with Zero, the moon, stars, clouds and flowers raised in relief and finished in gold on black.

What colour is the plaque?

It is black with gold detailing.
