nightmare-before-christmas-round-stoneware-coaster-white
Nightmare Before Christmas Round Stoneware Coaster - White

Description

This round stoneware coaster carries a finely drawn scene from The Nightmare Before Christmas, with Jack Skellington and Sally sketched side by side in soft black linework. Around the edge, the words "cheers to fears" repeat in a ring, each one separated by a tiny pumpkin, and a thin gold rim frames the whole design. The base is white with a matt finish, which lets the pen-and-ink style of the drawing stand out clearly. It measures 10cm across and 0.5cm deep, so it sits neatly under a mug, a tumbler or a wine glass without taking up much room on the table.

We think it suits a coffee table, a desk or a bedside, anywhere a drink is set down and a little gothic charm is welcome. The slim profile means it slips easily into a drawer when it is not in use, or it can stay out on a shelf as a small piece of décor in its own right. The sketched characters and the playful toast feel at home in a reading corner or a home office, and it sits happily alongside dark wood, black metal or plain white ceramics. As a small gift it is easy to wrap, and it brings a smile without being over the top.

The coaster is made from stoneware, a firm ceramic, and the gold rim adds a bright edge against the matt white. To keep the drawing and the rim looking their best, we suggest wiping it with a soft damp cloth and drying it straight away, rather than soaking or scrubbing it. Wiping up any drips as they happen keeps the surface clean. For a thoughtful present, we like to tuck it in beside a favourite mug or a bag of good coffee, so the toast around its edge gets used from the very first cup.

Specification

Material

Stoneware

Colour

White

Finish

Matt

Height

10cm

Width

10cm

Depth

0.5cm

Weight

0.091kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the coaster?

It measures 10cm across and 0.5cm deep, a comfortable size for a mug, a tumbler or a wine glass to sit on.

What is the coaster made from?

It is made from stoneware, a firm ceramic, with a matt white finish and a thin gold rim running around the edge.

What words are printed on it?

The words "cheers to fears" run in a ring around the edge, repeated with a small pumpkin between each one, framing the drawing of Jack Skellington and Sally.

How should I clean the coaster?

We suggest wiping it with a soft damp cloth and drying it straight away, rather than soaking or scrubbing it, to keep the print and the gold rim looking good.

Does it make a good gift?

Yes, it is small and easy to wrap, and it pairs nicely with a favourite mug or a bag of coffee for a present with a gothic twist.
