nightmare-before-christmas-coffin-resin-money-box-black
Nightmare Before Christmas Coffin Resin Money Box - Black

Description

This coffin money box gives spare change a spooky home, with a raised figure of Jack Skellington standing arms crossed against a black panel framed by a stone-grey border. It is made from polystone, a resin with a weathered, cracked headstone look, and a small plaque at its foot reads "JACK SKELLINGTON RIP" in spindly hand-drawn lettering. Jack's bat bow tie and the tails at his sides are picked out in the same stone-grey as the frame. It stands 17.8cm tall, 8cm wide and 8cm deep, so it takes up very little room.

We think it belongs on a bedroom shelf, a desk or a bookcase, anywhere a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas will see it every day. It works as a real money box for saving loose coins towards something special, and as a piece of gothic decor in its own right on a shelf of favourite films and keepsakes. It is meant for ages 13 and up, which makes it a thoughtful gift for a teenager or a grown-up fan who likes their savings with a little graveyard character.

The figure, the frame and the plaque all stand proud of the black background, and fine cracks run across the panel and the stone border to finish the graveyard effect. A broad, rough-textured base lets it stand on its own on any flat surface, so it needs no wall or fixing. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth and, if it needs more, wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Set it at the end of a bookshelf or on a desk where the light catches the raised detail, or wrap it for the fan who counts Jack among their favourite characters.

Specification

Material

Polystone

Colour

Black

Height

17.8cm

Width

8cm

Depth

8cm

Weight

0.34kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the coffin money box?

It stands 17.8cm tall, 8cm wide and 8cm deep, a compact size that fits easily on a shelf, a desk or a bedside table.

What is the money box made from?

It is made from polystone, a type of resin, finished to look like weathered, cracked headstone stone with the figure and plaque raised in relief.

What colour is it?

The coffin panel is black, while the border, the Jack Skellington figure, the plaque and the base are a stone-grey with a textured, weathered finish.

What does the writing on the money box say?

The small headstone plaque at the foot of the coffin reads "JACK SKELLINGTON RIP" in spindly, hand-drawn style lettering.

Who is this money box suitable for?

It is meant for ages 13 and up, so it suits teenagers and adult fans as a decorative money box rather than a toy.

Does it need to be fixed to a wall?

No, it has a broad, flat base and stands on its own on a shelf, desk or any other flat surface indoors.
