ngari-outdoor-wall-light-rust
Ngari Outdoor Wall Light - Rust

Description

A wall light in iron with a clear glass shade, 28cm from the top of the backplate to the bottom of the glass and standing 14.6cm out from the wall. A round backplate carries two fixing holes and a short arm that comes forward and turns down through a right angle into a deep, stepped iron collar. The glass fits into that collar: a plain capsule with straight sides and a closed, rounded base, clear all the way round so the bulb and the lampholder are visible inside it.

It is rated IP44 and made for outdoor use, which puts it beside a door, along a passage or on a garden wall. Because the shade is clear all round, the light goes out in every direction at that level rather than being thrown down in a pool. At 10.7cm across and 14.6cm off the wall it is a small fitting that sits close. It will run on a dimmer switch.

The fitting is iron and the shade is glass. The rust finish is even underfoot but mottled in tone, running from a mid brown to something darker across the plate, the arm and the collar, so no two are marked the same way. It takes an E27 bulb up to 40W, and the bulb is not included. The same Ngari light is made in antique brass as well as this rust.

Specification

Height

28cm

Width

10.7cm

Projection

14.6cm

Material

Iron & Glass

Finish

Rust

Bulb Fitting

E27

Max Wattage

40W

IP Rating

IP44

Dimmable

Yes

Suitable for Outdoor Use

Yes

Weight

1.6kg

Frequently Asked

What bulb does it take?

An E27, up to 40W.
