The frame is steam-bent rattan and the body is filled with closely spaced rattan spindles, so the whole chair is open work. It hangs from a single natural fibre rope, which comes with it.

The seat is 58cm across and 56cm deep. The chair is made to hang from a sturdy branch, a beam, a load-bearing frame or a hook. It is suitable for outdoor use, and at 5.69kg it comes down again easily at the end of the season.

The chair is rattan throughout. It is handcrafted by steam-bending the cane into shape, which is what gives the frame its single continuous curve, and rattan is a fast-growing crop. The rope is natural fibre. The Nesari range also holds an armchair and a sofa.

Specification

Height

125cm

Width

72cm

Depth

76cm

Seat Width

58cm

Seat Depth

56cm

Material

Rattan

Colour

Natural

Suitable for Outdoor Use

Yes

Weight

5.69kg

Frequently Asked

How do I hang it?

From a sturdy branch, a beam, a load-bearing frame or a hook.
