nelly-globe-pendant-light-matt-black
Nelly Globe Pendant Light - Matt Black

Description

The Nelly globe pendant light is a plain sphere of matt black aluminium, hung from a black textile cable, with an opening at the base of the globe where the light falls through. It takes one GU10 lamp, and the lamp is not included, so you choose the bulb and the colour of light that suit the room. It runs on 220-240V mains and is controlled with a simple on-off switch. We sell it in two sizes, 8cm and 14cm, so you can pick the 8cm for a small, neat globe or the 14cm for a little more presence.

Rated IP20, the Nelly is for dry rooms: living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, landings and dining rooms. The 8cm globe is compact enough to hang beside a bed in place of a bedside lamp, leaving the table top clear, or to hang in a row of two or three over a long dining table. The 14cm globe holds its own alone over a small table, in a hallway or above a desk. Its plain modern shape sits as happily in a pared-back flat as in a period house, and the matt black gives a crisp outline against pale walls. The textile cable is 1.5m long, so measure your ceiling height before deciding where it hangs.

The structure is aluminium in a matt black finish and the cable is textile, a simple pairing with nothing fussy about it. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 2 year guarantee. For styling, the matt black globe looks well against oak and pale plaster, and next to brass or warm timber it reads as a quiet, graphic accent. Hang two of the 8cm globes at staggered heights over a sideboard, or let a single 14cm globe mark the centre of a small dining table, and fit warm white GU10 lamps for a soft evening glow.

Specification

Finish

Matt Black

Materials

Aluminium structure and textile cable

Shade Height

10.5cm (8cm), 15.5cm (14cm)

Canopy Diameter

8cm (8cm), 8cm (14cm)

Shade Diameter

8cm (8cm), 14cm (14cm)

Lamp Cap

GU10

Number of Lamps

1

Lamps Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

1.5m

Guarantee

2 years

Product Codes

04644, 04675

Frequently Asked

Does the Nelly globe pendant come with a bulb?

No, the lamp is not included.
