When the bulb is on, light runs through every rib and spreads fine rays across the wall around it, so the fitting lights the surface behind it as well as the room. It is made of brass and glass and comes in Satin Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black or Polished Brass, with the Matt Black painted in RAL 9005. It measures 30cm tall and 30cm wide, and stands 23.5cm out from the wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe would fit it in a living room, one either side of a fireplace, or a pair above a sofa, where the ribbed glass breaks up a plain wall in the evening. In a bedroom it works well beside the bed, and in a dining room it gives a soft, low light along the wall while the ceiling light stays off.
