my-first-grandchild-starry-resin-photo-frame-6-x-4in-white
My First Grandchild Starry Resin Photo Frame 6 x 4in - White

Description

This white resin photo frame marks the arrival of a first grandchild, with the words MY FIRST GRANDCHILD set in capitals across the top border. Around the opening, a scattering of small hand-painted silver and gold stars, a crescent moon and twinkling star trails gives it a gentle starry-night feel, and a little white teddy bear holding a gold heart sits at the centre of the bottom edge. The frame holds a single 6 x 4in photograph in landscape, in a rectangular opening with no mount, and it measures 20.5cm wide, 15cm tall and 2cm deep.

It sits nicely on a bedside table, a mantelpiece, a dressing table or a bookshelf, wherever a grandparent will see that first picture every day. We think it makes a thoughtful gift for a grandmother or grandfather to mark a birth, given at the first meeting or tucked in with a card of congratulations. The soft white finish and gentle stars would suit a nursery too, but it is really a keepsake for the grandparents' own home, a place to keep that first photograph close and to swap in later favourites as the little one grows.

The frame is made of resin with a hand-painted finish, and it stands on a hinged strut at the back, so it needs no wall, nails or hooks. The backing board is held by small turn clips, which makes it simple to slip a photograph in and change it whenever you like. To keep it looking fresh, dust it with a soft dry cloth and, when needed, wipe it over with a slightly damp cloth before drying it. As a gift, we like to frame a print of the baby's first photograph before wrapping, so the grandparents can open it and put it straight on show.

Specification

Material

Polyresin

Colour

White

Finish

Handpainted

Height

15cm

Width

20.5cm

Depth

2cm

Weight

0.324kg

Photo Size

6 x 4in (15 x 10cm)

Photos

One

Stand or Hang

Stands on a strut

Mount

No mount

Design

My First Grandchild

Occasion

Birth

Frequently Asked

What size photograph does this frame hold?

It holds a single 6 x 4in photograph in landscape, in a rectangular opening with no mount around it.

How big is the frame overall?

The frame measures 20.5cm wide, 15cm tall and 2cm deep, a neat size for a bedside table, shelf or mantelpiece.

How does the frame stand?

It is made to stand.
