murane-r-18-80cm-pink-glass-chandelier-without-canopy-champagne
Murané R 18 Pink Glass Chandelier 80cm Without Canopy - Champagne

Description

The Murané R 18 is a ring chandelier: a slim band in a Brushed Champagne finish, 79cm across, set with 18 pink glass spheres that sit above and below it. Each sphere is 10cm across, and the glass has a rippled, wavy surface that catches the light and glows a warm pink when lit. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 2647 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so food, wood and skin tones look true under it.

It is made for a dining room, hung over a round or long table, or for a living room where a wide ring of light suits the space better than a single pendant. At 79cm across it wants room around it, so it sits most comfortably in a generous room. It is rated IP20, which means dry rooms only. The chandelier comes without its canopy: a Murané R canopy, sold separately, is the ceiling fitting it hangs from, and there is no version that includes one. It runs on mains power, wired in by an electrician through a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which turns the mains supply into the 24V DC the ring runs on.

The band has a Brushed Champagne finish, a soft, warm metallic tone with a fine brushed grain, and the 18 pink glass spheres are spaced evenly around it, alternating above and below the band. It is a Class III fitting that runs at 24V DC from its driver, and it is for a qualified electrician to install. When you plan it, order the canopy and driver at the same time as the chandelier, so all three are ready together for the day it goes up, and allow for its full 79cm width over the table or the centre of the room.

Specification

Finish

Brushed Champagne

Glass

Pink

Diameter

79cm

Sphere Diameter

10cm

Light Source

Integrated LED

LED Power

49.7W

Luminous Flux

2647lm

Colour Temperature

2700K

CRI

90

Power

Mains, wired in by an electrician, through a 24V DC driver (sold separately)

Voltage

24V DC

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class III

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Murané R 18 come with a canopy?

No. It comes without its canopy, and no version includes one, so you will need a Murané R canopy, sold separately, to hang it from the ceiling.

What else does this chandelier need to work?

As well as the Murané R canopy, it needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, and it is wired in to the mains by an electrician.

How big is the Murané R 18?

The ring is 79cm across, and each of its 18 pink glass spheres is 10cm across, so it suits a generous dining room or living room.

Can I put it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a dining room or a living room.

What kind of light does it give?

An integrated LED gives 2647 lumens of warm white light at 2700K with a CRI of 90, and there is no bulb to buy or change.

How long will it take to arrive?

It is made to order for you, so it is usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/01_lead_2337bea5-495c-4d38-986a-a1e2c63351cd.jpg?v=1791327802
